Expectations for the launch of combined ERP and CRM systems

Our attention turns to the offering that Microsoft is about to launch, combining cloud-based CRM and ERP systems.

The Redmond giant is close to launching a proposal that would allow companies to choose purpose-based applications for a range of business management processes including finance, sales, operations, marketing and customer service.  This initiative will also allow payment only for services that are required-applications that also provide predictive intelligence and process automation.  Cortana and BI – embedded in the applications – predictively show what steps can be taken and show possible prospects – sales agents would be able to predict which products or services are best suited to which customers.

With the acquisition of LinkedIn – which retains so much professional information about our current and past jobs, personal interests and education – Microsoft will be able to significantly increase the data it makes available through its Dynamics CRM platform.
