The Redmond giant is close to launching a proposal that would allow companies to choose purpose based applications for a range of business management processes including finance, sales, operations, marketing and customer service. This initiative will also allow companies to pay only for the services that are required – applications that also provide predictive intelligence and process automation. Cortana and BI – incorporated in the applications – show in a predictive way which steps can be followed and show possible perspectives – the sales agents could predict which products or services fit better with which customers.
With the acquisition of LinkedIn – which retains so much professional information about our current and past jobs, personal interests and education – Microsoft will be able to significantly increase the data it makes available through its Dynamics CRM platform.
